Advocacy
Sadly, statistics show that one third of our Veterans have faced forms of trauma in transferring from the ADF to civilian life. They need our support to guide them through the many pathways that seem too big to handle on their own thus the need a helper in the form of an Advocate. The Advocates role can assist the Veteran in the following:
- Application for White or Gold cards with DVA depending on your Service record.
Having an approved card gives you tremendous support base for those professional needs. We can help you get your card.
- Compensation claims with DVA can be a big mountain to climb alone and our
Advocate enables to be that bridge between the two parties.
- Assisting not only the Veteran but also his/her family to ensure there is a
good balance and understanding between all.
Travel claims, Rehabilitation equipment, home modifications, Injury claims associated with your service. Ask our Veterans Welfare Advocate for your Card entitlements.
